Tools

PlayIt Live includes a range of tools to help you manage your track library, analyse your playout history and maintain your database. Access these tools from the Tools menu in the menu bar.

• Missing Track File Analysis - Find tracks that reference audio files that have been moved or deleted.
• Duplicate Track File Analysis - Find tracks whose file path already exists in PlayIt Live.
• Track Play Count Analysis - Analyse how many times each track has been played over a given period.
• Database Clean-up - Remove old playout log items, voice tracks and orphaned files.
• Monitored Folders Status - View the status of folders being monitored for new audio files.
• Loudness Analysis - Analyse and normalise the loudness of your tracks.
• Backup and Restore - Back up and restore your PlayIt Live database.
• Auto Adjust - Automatically adjust track tempos and segues to fit a time slot.
• Mixdown Playout Log - Mix down a section of the playout log to a single audio file.
• Internet Broadcast - Stream audio to Icecast or Shoutcast servers.
• Now Playing - Send now playing information to external services.
• External Devices - Control external hardware devices such as silence detectors and satellite receivers.
