Playout Log
The playout log is the generated sequence of items that the automation system plays out. It shows past events that have already been played and future events that are scheduled to play.
The playout log is built by the scheduling engine from the clocks assigned to each hour. When a clock is scheduled, the scheduling engine generates playout log items matching the clock items for that hour. If no clock has been scheduled for an hour, the playout pattern is used to generate the playout log items instead.
You can view and edit the playout log, manually add or remove items, re-schedule ranges of hours, and import or export the log to external files.
- Edit Playout Log: view and edit the playout log, schedule or unschedule ranges, and add items manually
- Edit Playout Log (Scheduled): the columns shown in the playout log when items are scheduled
- Import Playout Log: import a playout log generated by an external scheduler
- Export Playout Log: export the playout log to a file
