Playout Pattern

The playout pattern is the repeating sequence of track groups that the scheduling engine uses to build the playout log. For example, a playout pattern can be configured with the following track groups:

• Songs
• Jingles
• Promos

This will result in Songs, Jingles, and Promos being scheduled back to back, repeating over each hour of the week. The scheduling engine fills each hour by cycling through the pattern, selecting a track from each group in turn.

You can override the playout pattern for individual hours using Clocks.

To configure the playout pattern, open the Manage Playout Pattern window.
