Edit Daypart Separation Playout Policy Window
A Daypart Separation Playout Policy ensures that a track is not repeated again in the same daypart (e.g. Breakfast) for a period of days. This means regular listeners will not hear the same song repeated during the times when they regularly listen.
Daypart Separation requires the Advanced Scheduling module. Start a free two-week trial from within PlayIt Live via Help > Licensing Information.
Separation Time
The number of days to wait before playing the same track again in this daypart.
Daypart
The daypart for this policy. If no dayparts are shown, or to update a daypart, click the Manage Dayparts button.
Specific Track Groups
Check the checkbox to ensure this playout policy is only applied to the selected track groups. Leave the checkbox unchecked to apply the policy to all tracks.
Name
The name of the playout policy.
Disabled
Disable a playout policy so it is not considered by the scheduler.
OK
Click OK to confirm changes to the playout policy.
Cancel
Click Cancel to discard changes.
