PlayIt Playout Log Format

PlayIt Manager can export the contents of any date range from the editing playout log screen as a .pipl file, and can import the same file back into a date range from the importing playout log screen.

Use the .pipl format when you want a round-trippable export of a PlayIt Manager log that preserves every item type, including fixed time markers, voice tracks, remote URLs and advert blocks. For interchange with third-party scheduling tools that only emit a playlist of tracks, use the M3U Playlist Format instead.
