Overview

 

PlayIt Manager is a browser based server application enabling the remote management and data synchronisation of PlayIt Live data. It is possible to manage Track and Track Group data as well as schedule data such as Clocks and Playout Log for synchronisation with PlayIt Live.

 

The software is designed to run as a separate application storing a single source of data. PlayIt Live instances on different computers can connect to PlayIt Manager via a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) and receive updates from the server. The URL to use is the base URL found in the address bar when using PlayIt Manager from a browser, such as http://server:25432/. PlayIt Live 1.11 is required in order to synchronise all types of data with PlayIt Manager. For more information, see the Connect PlayIt Live page on PlayIt Manager.

 

The PlayIt Manager server application has been tested on Windows 10 but should work on Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 11.

 

PlayIt Manager in the browser is supported with the latest versions of modern browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
