Playback buffer length
Increasing the playback buffer length decreases the chance of the sound breaking-up on slower computers, but also increases latency when processing audio. A restart of PlayIt Live is required to apply the change.
ASIO (Audio Stream Input/Output) devices are low-latency audio devices. If you wish to use a listed ASIO device, tick the item in the list. You will need to restart PlayIt Live to apply the changes and initialise the device. ASIO devices must be explicitly initialised to avoid potential conflicts the equivalent standard driver loaded by PlayIt Live.
