Configuration

Use the dropdown box to select the audio source to broadcast. Listed here are all available soundcard input devices as well as the PlayIt Live Main Mix. The PlayIt Live Main Mix is a complete mix of all the main players and QuickCarts. This can be used if no input devices are available. The area below will display the levels of the selected audio source so it can be monitored.

The Streams section lists the encoder streams that have been configured.

 

Add: Add a new stream. Opens the Encoder Configuration window.

Edit: Edit the selected stream. Opens the Encoder Configuration window.

Delete: Deletes the selected stream.

 

The list shows the following fields:

Encoder: A summary of the configuration

Status: The status of the encoder.

Description: A more detailed status of the encoder.

The currently playing track title can be streamed to the streaming server. The text box shows the title that will be streamed if Title Streaming has been selected for the stream. If you want to change the title that is streamed to a custom value, you can use the Override checkbox. The text box will become enabled and you can enter an alternative title. The title will remain overridden until you uncheck the checkbox.

When PlayIt Live is started, the streams will automatically be started if this checkbox is checked.

When this button is first clicked, all the streams will attempt to start streaming to the server. When this button is clicked again, all the streams will stop streaming to the server.
